Today I attended a fundraiser for mayoral candidate Michelle Martinez in the same Santa Ana neighborhood in which my good friend, Orange Juice Blog founder and Ward 3 Council candidate Art Pedroza, who also attended the event, lives. School board candidate Valerie Amezcua was co-headlining.

Ever wonder why with all the whining and verbal gnashing about our bought and paid for electeds, their mismanagement of public monies, their backroom deals and deceptions, their unwillingness to listen to us and their inability … or unwillingness … to solve the City’s ills, we keep putting them back in office?
7:11pm – CNN is reporting that Barack Obama has won the majority of total pledged delegates. U2′s Beautiful Day is blaring behind him at his rally in Des Moines, Iowa. Even as a Hillary supporter, I have to say it is a beautiful day. Let’s kick some McCain ass! Obama just started speaking… more soon.
