Sales tax revenues in Santa Ana are dropping quicker than home values as frightened consumers stop spending, exotic car dealerships go out of business, and strip malls lay vacant.

Despite just receiving 5.8 Million Dollars from HUD to be used for neighborhood stabilization, and despite having the highest concentrations of foreclosures in Orange County, The Santa Ana City Council is content to sit on the sidelines and watch vast swaths of this once glorious city decay.
The OC Register is reporting that Orange County gang membership has jumped by almost 50% according to The Report On The Conditions of Children in Orange County.
Its shows that children ages 8-17 becoming gang members has jumped to the highest levels since 1998.
